The City May Be Opening Up Legal Places Las Vegas Tourists Can Smoke Next Year
The state of Nevada legalized recreational marijuana earlier this year. While in Nevada, anyone who is over 21 and can produce a valid ID is able to make a purchase at a marijuana dispensary; however, due to federal law and current state regulations, finding legal places Las Vegas tourists can smoke is pretty tricky. Some Nevada lawmakers, including Bob Coffin want to help end the search. Find out what you need to know about the legislature, and the plans for the future regarding Las Vegas marijuana lounges.
Why Is It So Hard To Find Legal Places Las Vegas Tourists Can Smoke?
Even though recreational marijuana dispensaries are legally operating in Las Vegas, federal law does not regulate recreational marijuana. In order to comply with federal law, and save themselves the hassle, most casinos and hotels do not allow you to smoke in the rooms. With public consumption barred, and no “private” area to spark up safely, there are virtually no legal places Las Vegas tourists can smoke.

Nevada lawmakers are rekindling the fires for the debate on allowing Las Vegas marijuana lounges.
